It was'nt as cold a day as expected and it warmed up nicely .Fished well in the first half of the day bnut the afternoon proved really hard . Congratulations to Andy and Tim on winning at Eyebrook.It was close run thing with Mick O'Farrell (passion for trout ) and Alistair 2nd,am sure Alistair will agree he is a total novice which was a good thing for the winners. Deo and Mustapha came third no mean feat when you consider they blanked on Saturday but by god did they make up for it on Sunday. lIsuk had the biggest fish at 7lb. Great week-end ,Saturday we had the buffet at the Oriental Fusion in Corby which was superb. The folks at Eyebrook were as always terrific in every way and its fishing really well .We will be up and at it again next year for anyone who fancies it .
